Will I still have hot water on cloudy or rainy days?

Yes. Our Solar systems are designed with high-efficiency vacuum tubes that can absorb heat even in overcast conditions. Additionally, your system can include an electrical backup (or uses your existing geyser as a backup) to ensure you never have a cold shower, regardless of the weather.

Can the glass tubes withstand South African hailstorms?

Absolutely. We use 2.2mm thick, high-strength borosilicate glass tubes. These are specifically engineered and SABS-tested. In the unlikely event that a tube does break, they are modular and inexpensive to replace without replacing the whole system.

How much will I actually save on my electricity bill?

Water heating typically accounts for 40% to 50% of a standard household's monthly electricity bill. By switching to solar, most of our clients see an immediate reduction in their total bill, with many systems paying for themselves through savings within 2 to 4 years.

What is the difference between a "Split System" and a low or high pressure Integrated System?

Split System: We use your existing electric geyser as the storage tank and add solar collectors to your roof. This is the most cost-effective way to "go solar" without replacing your current geyser.
Complete Integrated System: A brand-new tank and solar tubes are installed together (integrated)
- Option High Pressure: This is a high-pressure system ideal for homes where water pressure is not an issue, typically new homes or when your old geyser has reached the end of its life.
- Option Low Pressure: This is a low-pressure system where homes, farms and rural areas do not have the luxury of high water pressure. In that case, we utilize a gravity feed system.
